Branch 28 of Tehran Revolutionary Court presided over by judge Moghiseh ruled out its verdict for Ali Malihi, member of Iran Alumni Organization, according to Acts 609 and 610 of Islamic Penal Code.
According to Advar News, the court has sentenced Ali Malihi to 4 years in prison on charges of acting against national security, and paying $100 monetary fine on charge of insulting the President.
The court ruling has also aggregated charges of propaganda against the system and disrupting the public order with collusion and conspiracy against the system.
Ali Malihi, a member of Advar-e Tahkim and journalist of reformist publications such as Shahrvand-e Emrooz, Etemad-e Melli and Irandokht, has been detained since 9 February 2010.
